The Institute of Research and Consultation (IRC) at the University of Jeddah is the university’s professional and consulting arm. It was established in 2015 (1436H) to support the university’s strategic initiatives, activate local and international partnerships, and promote the knowledge economy by providing high-quality research, consulting, training, and educational services.
Contracts are established according to the approved Executive Rules of the Institute of Research and Consultation, through signing agreements or implementation contracts between the Institute and the beneficiary entity. The Institute provides flexibility in its contracting models, including consulting contracts, training projects, partnership agreements, and revenue-sharing models.
They are specialized units within the Institute, led by faculty members from various university colleges. They provide advanced knowledge and consulting services in specific fields such as:
- Development, training, and educational academies.
- Expertise Houses for studies, consulting, and applied solutions.
- Expertise Houses for central labs and testing services.
Requests can be submitted through the Institute’s official email or via the online platform on the University of Jeddah website, by completing the service request form (consulting, training, or educational).
